Phoenix Springs is two years old this month.
What a trip it's been. We can't thank you enough for playing the game, sharing it, and discussing it at length. It has changed our life, and we hope it left something with you too.
But creating that world has also been emotionally draining. I remember chatting with Remy Siu of Sunset Visitor (1000x Resist) after launch and expressing how we both felt exhausted even at the idea of reopening our game files.
Now, enough time has passed that it's been a joy to revisit the oasis. I rediscovered old conversations with its inhabitants and dusted off forgotten secrets. Fitting, you might say.
So two years later, we finally bring you a big update. We've been working hard to make it fully playable with controllers, and we think it's particularly enjoyable on Steam Deck: the perfect time to visit – or revisit – our strange world.
Thanks again for joining us on this adventure,
Jigmé @Calligram Studio
P.S. To celebrate, we're also running a merch sale. There are only a few items left and it ends in December. If you've ever been inspired to write something in-depth about the game (Steam review or article), message us for potential freebies at hi@calligramstudio.com.
P.P.S: in case you missed it, please wishlist our new game, it helps a ton 🙏https://store.steampowered.com/app/4720280/IM_YOUR_HOST/
